My Mosaics Exhibited at Parker Adventist Hospital

GALLERY SHOW FOR 3 MONTHS – AUGUST THROUGH OCTOBER 2017

It gave me great joy to have 5 of my mosaics selected to hang in the Parker Adventist Hospital’s Art Gallery in the Cancer Imaging and Diagnostics Center.  It is not your usual art gallery…it is under lockdown and you have to be wearing a blue hospital gown and getting treatment in order to view this art gallery.  So with no public admission why was I so thrilled to show my mosaics there you ask?  Because I was helping people with cancer feel better, if only for a viewing moment of my art.  It took their minds off of their treatment for just a short while, and that is what made it worth it to me as the artist.  I am a cancer survivor, my brother is a breast cancer surgeon, and others in my family are RNs and hanging my art where it helps patients was extremely important to me.
